Description:

Summary

The Estimator serves as a critical team member of Big League Mover sales-operations. The position is responsible for coordinating moves through multiple channels, collaborating with multiple team members in Sales, Operations and customers at one time. The estimator will grow revenue through expertise positioning, closing sales  and ensure great customer experience, whilst providing Major League Service, abiding by company policies and promoting company purpose, vision and core values.

Essential Functions

Provide move coordination through various channels: on-site and over-the-phone. For both channels, this is further defined as taking ownership for initial consultation and all subsequent follow up processes needed to close the sale, meet customer expectations and communicate these expectations internal.

Adhere to and meet established expectations for productivity. Outlined in Subpart: Estimator Expectations.

Default to call center activities in times when survey level is down, This includes but is not limited to over-the-phone outbound and inbound sales coordination, following up with prospects, assisting other team members in providing solutions, and abiding by the follow up process for Web Quotes and any/all current lead sources.

Position expert solutions through all sales activities and aspects relating to customer relations, product sales and delivery, service and product instruction to Operations Team, while striving for 100% customer satisfaction.

Increase business through over-the-phone sales and on-site surveys. Build upon current individual sales numbers (volume and revenue) to show progress.

Collaborate with management in marketing and operations to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offerings as requested. This includes but is not limited to posts/messages on social media and assisting in marketing efforts.

Maintain good standing with all account-based business to ensure sound processing of orders and delivery of solutions.

Participate in meetings designed to promote flow of cross-departmental communication to ensure accuracy and understanding of services

Use electronic software and systems (Quoting Software, MSOffice, etc.) to quote, sell and order products; providing prompt and on-time delivery of quotes.

Seek out and target prospects and new sales opportunities through networking and community engagement.

Ensure products and services are sold in accordance with company values, policies and procedures, within the confines of regulating bodies of government (DOT, FMCSA etc.) and local laws.

Work with management to promote a fun, positive and competitive work environment, embody company culture and maintain high level of engagement.     

Additional Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing feedback regularly on process improvement, including but not limited to; wins and losses, competitive information, quality alerts, BLM surveys as well as periodic special requests.

Responsible for training/mentoring newer team members and hosting BLM guests for field visits upon request.

Representation of BLM at company-sponsored events, professional groups – invitations to discuss and/or present BLM products and services, at industry related meetings, and at exhibition events to promote BLM products and service.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work                                                                                                        

This is a full-time position. Expected weekly schedule is to comprise of minimum of 45 scheduled hours over 5 days (1 hour lunch break), Monday-Saturday. Overtime hours to be approved by management.
